Hello! I'm Nicola Bullock, and I have set up my website in the hope to help others - both those in receipt of care or support services, and those who provide it.

 

After having my daughter in 2008, I decided to embark on a career within care, which has encompassed working within a wide range of settings -  from private, residential, to nursing and domiciliary.

 

I have not looked back since. I feel it is the diversity of my experience prior to that  -  from working in a warehouse on night-shifts, to studying History at University, and back-packing on my own in different parts of the world - that has helped equip me with the creativity and dynamism to take on difficult situations, supporting people to find solutions that are right for them.

 

NB Training was set up in 2015, with the aim to reach out and support carers, personal assistants, support workers, volunteers, and students. My aspiration is to support others in care work to develop themselves, feel confident and supported.

 

I provide comprehensive support, from assessing learner needs,  identifying the best form of learner support and course package, to providing ongoing support, guidance and motivation.

 

I am able to provide training in the following areas:

 

Level 2, 3 & 5 Diplomas in Health and Social Care

Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care

Functional Skills - Maths, English & ICT

 

Moving and Assisting Training (for groups of up to 8)
